“Mineralized Water” bought from a water store has some added minerals, mainly calcium and magnesium. We have frequently observed that water stores sell purified water (usually reverse-osmosis filtered water) for about 50 cents per gallon, and “mineralized water” or “electrolyte-enhanced water” is sold at about $1 to 2 per gallon. The level of added minerals is usually about 10 to 50 ppm (parts per million).
A single drop of EMDROPS in a full 8 oz (~240 mL) cup of purified water provides about 100 ppm of minerals (i.e. more than twice the concentration of typical “mineralized water”), at a far lower cost.
